Over the past year, we’ve been working on formalizing a partnership with the United Way of Greater Greensboro. They’ve created an innovative initiative called The Family Success Center.

“United Way of Greater Greensboro’s Family Success Centers bundle services in one location and remove barriers by offering childcare and transportation. Our nationally recognized model serves the entire family and is empowering people to become financially stable.”
We are providing the following services to their staff and members:
-Excel/spreadsheet tutoring and support
- Computer literacy courses
- Education on career pathways within IT and related fields
- One-on-one job coaching and support for those with children enrolled in remote school
We also do a twice yearly service project in support of the FSCs. For our last project, we packed toiletry kits for their members.
We’re excited to share that we are launching computer literacy courses over the next several weeks! We are holding weekly meet and greets so that we can introduce ourselves to the FSC members, learn about their learning needs and goals, and determine course structure.
We are thrilled to be able to provide a service like this that leverages an expertise of ours to fill a need within the community.
