Did you know that Greensboro, North Carolina, is home to 50,000+ local college students? Campus Greensboro runs the Campus Greensboro Fellows Program.
“A competitive, 10-week summer program that includes a paid industry internship and opportunities to build your network, enhance your professional development, engage in the community, and explore Greensboro as a place to thrive as a young professional.”

We are so delighted to host two Fellows this summer!
Malik joined us as our Creative Services intern. Malik recently graduated from Guilford College. Among other things, he played soccer there and interned for the universities studying slavery project (he built this website). Malik is a multi-talented illustrator, photographer, graphic designer, and UX designer.
Malik grew up in Virginia until his family settled in High Point, North Carolina. He likes traveling, photography, soccer, and visiting local parks.
Lavanya recently completed her MS in Computer Science from UNCG. She joined us as our Software Development intern. Lavanya has an elementary school-aged son who keeps her busy when she’s not working. She also likes cooking, playing board games, and gardening.
She’s a transplant to the Triad and moved here from India a few years back with her husband. She’s taught computer science courses to both undergraduates (at Sri Sai Madhavi Degree College) and as a GSI (at UNCG).
We’re so excited to continue to grow our local talent pipeline by partnering with Campus Greensboro. We hope to equip local students with the skills and tools to thrive in Greensboro and beyond! Of course, our preference is for the thriving to occur in Greensboro 🙂
